Based on the standards established by the DAISY Committee, the story of Rhadrian Raphael Resuello, an incoming senior nursing student, gets the award. "I would like to thank the Daisy Foundation and Health Carousel. I was inspired by the story of the first recipient at our university last year. I hope my story will also inspire all the students here. Health Carousel Philippines Inc. (HCPI) in partnership with DAISY Foundation and Health Carousel Foundation presented the FIRST DAISY Award given to a nursing student in Mindanao during the orientation day of the College of Nursing of Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan. Dianarah was surprised but was very happy and proud when her name was announced as the DAISY Awardee for year 2023 in Xavier University.
WEST VISAYAS STATE UNIVERSITY (WVSU) NURSING STUDENT, RECEIVES THE 1ST DAISY AWARD IN WESTERN VISAYAS
The DAISY Awardee was honored during the Recognition Day of the College of Nursing of West Visayas State University at Iloilo City. The awardee, Iverson J. Ferrer, was surprised and speechless when his name was called. He is an incoming senior nursing student from the premier university of Western Visayas. Iverson said, “For those student nurses who also aspire to receive a DAISY Award, my advice is to never lose the fire inside you. Never stop learning and achieving greater heights because, through this, we can be the nurses that we always dream to be.
A DAISY Award was given to a nursing student who saved the life of a street vendor in Cebu City whose neck was slashed by her partner.
A DAISY award for extraordinary nursing students was given by Health Carousel Philippines in coordination with Health Carousel, LLC and DAISY Foundation to a nursing student who saved the life of a street vendor in Cebu City whose neck was slashed by her partner. The awarding was held during the capping ceremony of nursing students of the University of Cebu in Waterfront Hotel Cebu on February 21, 2023. The awarding was witnessed by 749 nursing students, nursing faculty, parents, and guests who were attending the capping ceremony and representatives from Health Carousel Philippines. Kristianne Joyce Noelle Ona, the one who assisted Angyl, was also honored as aDAISY nominee.

The DAISY awardee is Rydgel Reign Santos, a senior nursing student from the country’s premier university, the University of the Philippines, Manila. She received the DAISY Award during the orientation of freshman students of the college of nursing. She was surprised and was not expecting that she will have an award that day. She said that she is sharing the award with her batchmates and clinical instructors. “To the freshman students, this opportunity is one of the things you can have in the college of nursing, and to Health Carousel and DAISY Foundation, thank you very much for this prestigious award,” Santos said.

The 6th DAISY Awardee of Health Carousel Philippines, Inc.(HCPI) received the award thru a virtual ceremony on September 2021. The awardee is Marigold Corcino of Panabo City, Davao Del Norte. She is currently working in Somoso General Hospital, Inc. as a Staff Nurse.
